Denzel Dankwah came to visit

Last year, during our Book Week celebrations, we were delighted to welcome Denzell Dankwah, a talented illustrator whose work is deeply inspired by comic books and graphic novels. His passion for the medium sparked his journey into the world of art and storytelling.

Denzell's debut book, Superheroes: Inspiring Stories of Secret Strength, was published by Merky Books, a publishing imprint founded by Stormzy. During his visit, Denzell led a school-wide assembly, sharing his experiences and insights as an illustrator. He also hosted superhero illustration workshops for various year groups, inspiring students to explore their creativity and develop their own artistic skills.
